Queen Elsa from Disney Movie FROZEN

This image was a challenge! Elsa's hair is a pale color for which I don't exactly have colors for.  I used my W's Copic Markers for a grayish look and shadows.  I chose the gray's tones because she has an icy look to her and the other lighter colors I have were to yellowish or light brownish.

Her skin was also a challenge.  The skin tones I have, even the lightest, was not white enough. So I went with E41 as a base color and E43 for shadows.

Snowflakes have a very light blue tint.
I use Stickles Silver color for the glittery effects on her dress.

Occasion for this card? My daughter's 16th birthday.

Copics Used:

Hair: W1, W3, W5 and 0
Skin: E41, E43, R20, E04, E09
Eyes: B000, B00, B02
Dress: B00, B02, BV00

Sparkle on Dress: Stickles from Tim Holtz Silver

I used Oval Die from My Favorite Things, Snowflake Die from Sizzix.  I usede an embossing folder for the impression of starts on background and used Tim Holtz blending tool to add a light blood shading around Elsa.

I decided just to stamp a sentiment instead of making a label.  It looks a little unven because of the texture to the cardstock.

Make It Crafty New Challenge Entry

Well, another challenge!  Cannot resist them! This one is a the hard challenge where I needed to color on something else other than white cardstock.  This was a real pain to color but I am happy with the end result.  I only used Copics to color the image but the background was colored with Tim Holtz distress inks.

Oh, I am also playing around with making a new watermark for my images.  So they will change from time to time until I am happy with one of them.

Time for Tea Blog April Challenge

The images from this lovely site are so sweet!! I am entering this one for the first time.  The colors may seem a little odd but I wanted some colors to match the yellow on her crown.  You may need to click on the image to see what I did on the yellow flower.  I used vintage distress ink to age the flower a bit and for it not to be so yellow.

Aren't the butterflies pretty?!

Hair: C7, C5, C3, C1
