Coloring With Spectrum Noir

Hello, crafty friends!!

Today I wanted to share with you a video I did a while ago about coloring with Spectrum Noir markers.  I don't normally color with them, but wanted to dust them off and give them a try.  They are not as easy for me to use as with my Copic markers, but they have very nice colors.  My favorites are the blues and red.

Video Tutorial - Distress Ink Background Brick Wall

Hello, crafty friends!

Welcome to my blog!! I am always happy to see you stop by!

Today I want to share with you a video I created on how I created a brick wall for this card.  I wanted to create background for the image I chose for this card and decided to use what I had which as a embossing folder with a brick pattern.  I wanted to use a stencil but don't have one so I used the embossing instead. I sponged distress ink on it and viola!!

I used Copic markers to color this image and as mentioned earlier distress inks to add color to the brick wall, window and interior.

Puppy Card With Grratitude

Hello, crafty friends!!

Today I wanted to dust off this stamp set I had bought long ago.  I had so many stamps but sometimes don't have the time to color them.  I LOVE dogs and enjoyed so much making this card!  I followed the color inspiration from SugarPea Designs to enter it into their current Inspiration challenge.

I tried to follow the color inspiration the best I could with the colors I have.  Of course, my W3 decides to run dry when I needed for this but I managed it to blend it pretty well.

Crafty Sentiments - New Challenge: Winter

Hello, crafty friends!!

Today I want to share with you this card I made for the new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  The theme is: Winter.  Its a little warmer in my area for Winter, but I still love it.  I take any cold weather I can get!! So, I chose this cute image to create a simple winter scene.  I hope you like it and join the challenge.

Coloring Dress Pleats with Copic Markers

Hello, crafty friends!!

I just wanted to share this Youtube video tutorial showing I color dress pleats.  This is the way I do it, but there are different ways to color them as well.  I used a blend of colors that works very well for this technique (listed below).
